What is Nectar? 

Nectar is an Indulgence item in Hades 2 that serves as a valuable gift for allied characters. When given to an NPC for the first time, it increases the relationship level by one and rewards the player with a Keepsake in return. Keepsakes are items that provide various enhancements and benefits during runs.

It is important to note that if an NPC does not require Nectar at a given time, they will return it, ensuring that none of the resources are wasted.

Methods to Acquire Nectar

There are several ways to obtain Nectar in Hades 2, each with its requirements and rewards. Here are the primary methods:

• Encounter Rewards: Nectar can be found as an uncommon reward from Encounters in all regions. While not guaranteed, players should keep an eye out for Nectar as a reward option and choose it whenever possible.
• Wretched Broker: After casting the Kinship Fortune Incantation, players can purchase one Nectar for 30 Bones each time they visit the Wretched Broker at the Crossroads after a run. The Nectar supply replenishes after each run, regardless of whether the player completes it or dies during the attempt.
• Charon's Shop: Occasionally, Charon, the boatman, will sell Nectar for 75 gold during runs.
