How to Reset Skill Points in Stellar Blade
Learn how to reset skill points in Stellar Blade with our complete guide.
Stellar Blade features a robust skill system with five skill trees for players to invest in. As players progress through the game and earn SP (skill points), they can unlock and upgrade various skills to make their character, Eve, more powerful. However, players may find themselves wanting to change their skill build later in the game. This guide will explain how to reset skill points, also known as respeccing, in Stellar Blade.
Obtaining the SP Initializer
To reset skill points in Stellar Blade, players need to acquire an item called the SP Initializer. This item can be found in several ways:
- Exploring the game world and completing side quests
- Purchasing from vending machines or shop vendors at Xion for 200 Gold
- Finding it in Legion Supply Boxes
It is important to note that players will only start receiving the SP Initializer after completing the opening chapters and progressing through the story in Eidos 7.

Resetting Skill Points
Once players have obtained an SP Initializer, they can follow these steps to reset their skill points:
- Go to a camp and locate Eve's "Skill Settings" terminal, usually found near a vending machine
- Navigate to the skill tree you want to reset
- Press and hold the Triangle button to reset the skill points in that specific tree
- Repeat the process for other skill trees if desired
It is crucial to remember that one SP Initializer will only reset the skill points in the specific tree you are currently viewing. To completely respec Eve's abilities, players will need to use multiple SP Initializers.

While it is possible to reset skill points without an SP Initializer, it is not recommended. Doing so will cause players to lose all the skill points they have earned, with no way to recover them. Always ensure you have an SP Initializer before attempting to reset your skill points in Stellar Blade.
