Shaymin Forms and How to Change Them
Shaymin has two forms in Pokemon GO:
Form | Type |
---|---|
Land Forme | Grass |
Sky Forme | Grass/Flying |
Trainers can manually change Shaymin's form once they have caught one. The process requires 25 Candy and 10,000 Stardust and is reversible, with the same resource cost for each transformation.
The shiny variant of Shaymin was released on February 16th, 2024, during the Pokemon GO Tour: Sinnoh - Los Angeles event.
Currently, the only way to obtain a Shiny Shaymin is by completing the Glimmers of Gratitude Research, which costs $4.99 or equivalent regional pricing. Upon completing the seven-step research, trainers are guaranteed an encounter with a Shiny Land Forme Shaymin, which can be converted to the Sky Forme using the aforementioned process.
