Stellar Blade Guide: How to Unlock the Bar 99 Chest 

Stellar Blade features numerous locked chests scattered throughout its world, each containing valuable items for players to discover. One such chest is located inside the Bar 99 building in the Eidos 7 area. However, opening this chest requires a specific passcode that is not readily available. This guide will walk players through the steps necessary to obtain the Bar 99 chest passcode & unlock its contents.

Finding the Bar 99 Chest

The Bar 99 chest can be found early in the game while exploring the ruins of Eidos 7. Look for a building with a neon sign that reads "Bar 99" near the broken bridge. Inside, players will encounter a few enemies guarding the chest. After dealing with these foes, players can approach the chest, but will quickly realize that a passcode is needed to open it.

Obtaining the Bar 99 Chest Passcode

To acquire the passcode for the Bar 99 chest, players must progress through the main story of Stellar Blade until they reach the city of Xion. Once there, locate the Bulletin Board next to the character Roxanne and accept the side quest called "Legion's Secret Stash." This quest will only become available after completing the main story mission "Light of Hope," which involves returning the second Hyper Cell to the Presence Chamber.

If the "Legion's Secret Stash" quest does not appear on the Bulletin Board, try completing a few more side quests or requests in the Xion area to trigger its appearance.

With the "Legion's Secret Stash" quest active, players must travel back to Eidos 7 using Adam's Tetrapod ship. Return to the Bar 99 building and navigate through the ruins, defeating any enemies that respawn. Upon reaching the locked chest, input the passcode "1228" to unlock it and claim the rewards inside.

Bar 99 Chest Rewards

The Bar 99 chest in Stellar Blade contains the following items:

• Advanced Nano Elements
• Extreme Nano Elements

These materials are used for crafting and upgrading equipment or creating new outfits for the main character, Eve. While the rewards may seem modest, they can still prove useful in the early stages of the game.

Additionally, players will receive 1,500 Gold as a reward for completing the "Legion's Secret Stash" quest upon returning to the Bulletin Board in Xion.
