Stellar Blade: How to Unlock a Gun?

In Stellar Blade, the combat initially revolves around Eve's one-handed sword, allowing players to execute various combos and unleash powerful Beta Skills. However, as players progress through the game's main story, they will unlock a gun that adds ranged combat options to Eve's arsenal. This guide will explain how to unlock the gun and how to use it effectively.

How to Unlock the Gun in Stellar Blade

Players will obtain the gun as part of the main story progression, ensuring that it is not a missable item. During the first section of the game, Eve and Adam will be hunting for the Alpha Naytiba. After defeating this boss, players will be introduced to Lily, who will join the team as they travel to the city of Xion.

Upon reaching Xion, meeting the Orcal, and powering up the city, players can return to Lily near the safe house to receive the upgraded drone that functions as a gun.

How to Use the Gun in Stellar Blade

To use the gun, players must follow these steps:

1. Hold down the L2 button to mount the drone on Eve's arm.
2. A reticle will appear on the screen.
3. Press the R2 button to fire the selected ammo type.

The current ammo count for the selected ammo type will be displayed in the bottom-left corner of the screen. Players can press down on the D-Pad to open the ammo wheel and switch between different ammo types.

Initially, the gun will only fire slugs. However, players can upgrade the drone using Drone Upgrade Modules at any Repair Console. These upgrades will unlock new ammo types and further enhance existing ones, providing players with a diverse ranged combat experience.

Obtaining Ammo for the Gun

To replenish ammo for the gun, players must visit vending machines at camps and purchase the desired ammo types using Gold. Ammo can also be found through random drops, but this method is less reliable. Additionally, some story-oriented areas may feature ammo resupply stations, although they are less common than vending machines.

Note: It is advisable to refill ammo whenever resting at camps, as each bullet does not cost too much, and there is a carrying capacity for each ammo type.
